    1. Malfunctions or damage due to abuse, misuse, or accident.
    2. Normal Wear and Tear

    5. Abuse or misuse of product

  • Can I move the spinning-reel handle to the other side?

Yes. Every Profishiency spinning reel has a reversible handle: unscrew the handle or the cap on the opposite side, move the handle over, and snug it down without muscling the threads. Steps vary a little by model, so peek at the manual.

  • Should I use 6, 8, 10, or 12 pound line on a spinning combo?

Stay inside the rod and reel ratings, then let technique pick. Six-pound suits panfish, trout, and finesse work in open water. Eight is the everyday all-rounder. Ten to twelve buys abrasion resistance around cover, at the cost of some capacity and casting ease on a small spool. Diameter matters more than the number on the label, especially with braid.

  • What do gear ratio, inches per turn, anti-reverse, and oscillation mean on a spinning reel?

Gear ratio is the number of rotor turns per handle turn. IPT (inches per turn) is the line actually recovered, and it drops as the spool empties. Anti-reverse stops the handle from turning backward so hooksets land solid. Oscillation is the spool's up-and-down travel that lays line evenly.

  • Can I use braided line on a Profishiency spinning reel?

Yes. Every Profishiency spinning reel is braid-compatible, and models run aluminum braid-ready spools. Wind braid on under firm tension and fill to the same level you would with mono, just below the lip.

  • Does a spinning combo come pre-spooled, and what kind of line is on it?

Not always. Value and mid-range spinning combos usually arrive spooled with 6, 8, or 10-pound monofilament, while premium combos like the Krazy and Rizz series ship bare so you can spool your own choice.
